Role Overview

As a Functional Assessor with Reactive Recruitment, you will be working as a Healthcare Specialist conducting thorough assessments of patients' functional abilities to provide accurate reports that support disability claims. This role requires excellent observational and communication skills, with the ability to listen, empathize, and delve deeper into patients' needs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' functional abilities to provide accurate reports.
  • Use observational and communication skills to gather information and understand patients' needs.
  • Produce timely reports and meet targets while working efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate assessments and reporting.

Requirements
  • Full registration with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, etc.) with a valid PIN and no restrictions.
  • At least one year of post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic.
  • Proficiency in IT, Microsoft Office, and remote system access.
  • A valid driving license or access to transportation to attend the nearest assessment centre.
