About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join our Newcastle office. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production of designs and drawings for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work within a team to produce designs and drawings for construction projects and associated technical reports.
  • Support the production of masterplans, site appraisals, and reports to support planning applications.
  • Design calculations and construction drawings.
  • Apply Highways England/DMRB and Local Authority design guidance.
  • Experience in using Civils 3D or PDS (or similar software packages).

Requirements
  • Preferably a Civil Engineering degree and either be Chartered or approaching Chartered status with experience in highway and highway drainage design.
  • Strong post-graduate experience in a civil engineering working environment.
  • The ability to work effectively with colleagues including more senior and junior staff in producing designs, drawings and reports.
