Senior Client Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Client Manager to join our dynamic team in Nottingham. As a key member of our practice, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients, overseeing workflow, deadlines, and budgets.
You will be a strong communicator, proactive problem solver, and natural team leader who can deliver an all-rounder skillset as part of a dynamic team. You will have recent experience in UK practice and an eagerness to embark on an exciting path of professional development.

About the Role- Managing a varied portfolio of clients, overseeing workflow, deadlines, and budgets
- Planning and undertaking assignments, striving to deliver service excellence
- Tracking progress, including WIP and billing targets
- Leading a team of accountants, reviewing work, providing constructive mentorship, and motivating those around you
- Owning responsibility of KPIs, including monthly billing forecasts and ensuring fee recovery rates are met
- Closely monitoring deadlines and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations
- Using computer software such as IRIS, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
- Contributing to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients
- Building trusted and long-lasting client relationships, proactively handling queries
- Reviewing processes and implementing more efficient ways of service delivery
- Setting an example to junior staff as a hands-on senior manager

- ACA or ACCA qualified, with at least 5 years' demonstrable experience managing a client portfolio within practice
- Previous experience leading a team, including reviewing work and providing mentorship
- A sound commercial understanding, including forecasting and monitoring fee recovery
- A can-do attitude to problem-solving
- Excellent reporting skills
- Organized and able to oversee a team's workload effectively
- Good communication and advisory skills
- A full UK driving license
