Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Warehouse Operative to join our team at Meridian Business Support in Kettering. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including palletising boxes, using handheld scanners to process pallets, and loading and unloading goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Palletising boxes and other items in a safe and efficient manner
  • Using handheld scanners to process pallets and update inventory levels
  • Loading and unloading goods from vehicles and storage areas
  • Performing general warehouse duties, including cleaning and maintenance
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Requirements:
  • Previous warehouse experience is desirable, but not essential
  • Ability to use pump trucks and carry out physical work
  • Ability to work in a targeted and fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience using handheld scanners is an advantage
