International Investment Role

This is an exciting opportunity to promote London as an investment destination for businesses in the Sustainability sector. The role is fundamental towards delivering the ambitious Net Zero goals set by the Mayor of London.

This is a varied and dynamic role which requires building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and partners at all levels and engaging with London's diverse ecosystem.

The successful candidate will provide expert advice and support to international clients looking to invest in London and help make this happen as seamlessly and quickly as possible.

Key responsibilities include managing the Sustainability sector inward investment pipeline through to completion, delivering FDI wins for London, and working closely with international teams to nurture and develop inward investment projects.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability, a drive to support London's economic growth, and experience using the Microsoft Office suite of products.

They will also be able to establish good relationships with both internal and external networks, ideally at C-level, and manage and deliver projects of work.

The role offers a hybrid working environment, 30 days' holiday in addition to UK public holidays, and excellent employer pension contribution and Medical Cash Plan.

  • Key Tasks:
  • To provide expert advice and support to international clients looking to invest in London.
  • To manage the Sustainability sector inward investment pipeline through to completion.
  • To work closely with international teams to help nurture, develop and then successfully convert inward investment projects into wins.
  • To share sector knowledge and provide access to networks such as industry leaders, trade bodies, universities and other centres of sector excellence.
  • To work closely with colleagues at the Department for Business and Trade in London and overseas.
  • To deliver referrals to partners in line with our commercial agreements.
  • To ensure the CRM sales pipeline is maintained and up to date.
  • To attend and contribute to relevant events in the Sustainability sector.
