Senior Geotechnical Engineer Opportunity

We are pleased to be working with a reputable Geotechnical Consultancy to recruit a Senior Geotechnical Engineer as part of their Northamptonshire based team.

About the Role

This Senior role focuses on providing geotechnical support and consultancy services to clients in a range of sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of successful projects and a good understanding of characterising ground conditions and providing recommendations covering foundation design, ground improvements, earthworks, basements, retaining wall, mining and slope stability assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a variety of projects from inception to completion
  • Manage financial budgets for projects
  • Undertake fieldwork and supervision of site contractors
  • Preparation of desk study reports, interpretative geotechnical and geoenvironmental reports and waste classification assessments to current UK standards
Requirements
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in working for a consultancy based in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering
  • BSc in Geology or related
  • MSc in Geotechnical/Geological Engineering
  • Either Chartered or working towards
  • Computer and Geotechnical Software Literate
  • Full UK Clean Driving License and Willingness to Travel as part of the role
