Education and Development Specialist

Novus, a national learning, training, and education organization, is seeking an Art Tutor to join our team at HMP Altcourse. As part of the LTE Group, we strive to 'improve lives and economic success through learning and skills.' This full-time position offers a 37-hour workweek with a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per year.
About the Role
This exciting opportunity involves developing and delivering high-quality, learner-focused education that meets contractual requirements and standards. You will support learners and colleagues alike to achieve the best possible outcomes. Your teaching qualification or subject specialist qualification at Level 4 (Level 5 – new standards) is required, along with a commitment to obtain the relevant outstanding Level 4 (Level 5 – new standards) qualification within a specified timeframe.

- Develop and deliver effective teaching strategies to meet learner needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless educational experiences

Requirements
- Teaching qualification or subject specialist qualification at Level 4 (Level 5 – new standards)
- Commitment to obtain the relevant outstanding Level 4 (Level 5 – new standards) qualification within a specified timeframe
- At least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
- Track record of effective teaching in subject specialism
