About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at TipTopJob. This exciting opportunity is part of our new prison initiative, which aims to promote change and equip individuals with the skills and emotional resilience needed for effective long-lasting change.

The Prison Visits Centre Coordinator will be responsible for managing the reception area, ensuring a smooth and respectful experience for all visitors, and maintaining strict adherence to security protocols. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to form diverse partnerships, alliances, and relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate a supportive and secure environment for families, friends, and professionals visiting prisoners at HMP Millsike.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors.
  • Maintain strict adherence to security protocols.
  • Act as the first point of contact, helping to alleviate the emotional stress often associated with prison visits through compassionate interaction and efficient service.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Skilled in forming diverse partnerships, alliances, and relationships.
  • Skilled in communication, presentation, data analysis, written and verbal communication.
  • Working knowledge of using Microsoft Office packages/digital systems.
  • Experience of databases, including overseeing the collection, recording, and collating of information, including statistical data, for audit, research, and reporting purposes.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • A positive problem-solving approach with the ability to focus on key issues quickly and clearly.
