About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Claire's. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Profit: Achieve store targets through effective sales strategies and driving sales growth.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
  • Commerciality: Ensure the store is well-merchandised and commercially correct, with a focus on driving sales and profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they are challenged and achieving results.
  • Ear Piercing: Provide ear piercing services to customers, with full training provided.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of retail management experience.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, basic computer skills, and a sound understanding of mathematics and reading comprehension.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand during scheduled shifts, maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly, and up to 75 lbs occasionally. Ability to bend, stoop, and climb ladders and step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate a POS system.
