Project Manager Quantity Surveyor

Located in Leiston, Suffolk, this role is part of the Sizewell C project team, a collaborative group focused on engaging stakeholders and securing development consent.
About the RoleA Senior Quantity Surveyor is an experienced QS with a track record in managing costs relating to building and civil engineering projects. They will have experience of managing a small team and mentoring others on their journey to becoming professionally qualified.
Key Responsibilities- Cost Management: Adhere to company governance, including SZC systems and processes, and organize and verify data to maximize digital tools.
- Tender Documents: Prepare and analyze Activity & Resource Schedules, and tender documents to ensure compliance with IMS and regulatory Licence Conditions.
- Negotiation and Contract Review: Critically appraise, estimate, and negotiate with third parties, reviewing complex contract programs and assisting in delay/disruption preparation.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced quantity surveyor who has a strong background in commercial management, negotiation, risk & opportunity management, legal & contracting, and project procurement strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience, membership of RICS, ICES, or CIOB, and excellent client & stakeholder management and people management skills.
The salary for this role is estimated to be £85,000 per annum.
