Teaching Opportunity

Our well-regarded secondary school in Southwark seeks a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our dynamic English department. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to inspire a love of English in students and equip them with valuable knowledge and skills.

About the Role:

  1. You will deliver engaging and stimulating English lessons across the curriculum, catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11).
  2. You will foster a love of English in students, encouraging exploration of the world around them and developing their critical thinking skills.
  3. You will utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential.
  4. You will contribute to curriculum development, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision, national requirements, and the latest advancements in educational pedagogy.
  5. You will collaborate effectively with colleagues within the English department and across the school to ensure a cohesive and engaging program.

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
