Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Type 2 Diabetes Advisor to join our team at National Services for Health Improvement (NSHI). The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes in line with local and national Diabetes guidelines (NG28).

In this role, you will work proactively to identify patients with sub-optimally controlled Type 2 diabetes and optimize their oral therapy. You will also conduct point of care testing and refer for specialist insulin treatment where necessary.

This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years' experience managing diabetes within primary care. The ideal candidate will have a Diabetes diploma or equivalent and knowledge of the provision of education, support, and advice to people with Type 2 Diabetes.

The salary for this role is competitive, with an annual bonus incentive scheme and car allowance included.
