Deputy Team Manager Job Opportunity

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Team Manager to join their Fostering Team in Essex. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of up to £53,465 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Fostering Operations Manager in ensuring services are delivered in line with The Fostering Services: National Minimum Standards 2011 and legal requirements.
  • Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of children in need, in need of protection, and/or in care through assessment and care planning.
  • Assist in the recruitment and retention of foster carers and support the timely completion of assessments.
  • Quality assure all aspects of work relating to the Fostering Service and Development Plan and Household Reviews.
  • Present effectively at Fostering Panels and support the Operations Manager in developing learning from emerging themes.
  • Work in partnership with key agencies to ensure collaboration and information sharing for good outcomes.
  • Manage and oversee the supervision of Foster Carers and Specialist Guardianship carers.
  • Ensure the effective management of the team, including supervision and allocation of casework/assessment.
  • Adhere to budgetary guidelines and make cost-effective decisions.
  • Undertake staff performance tasks to ensure professional and performance standards are met.
