About the Role:

  • Conduct surveys of trees in proximity to overhead lines to ensure safe and efficient utility line clearance.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of tree identification, characteristics, and safety protocols.
  • Utilize strong communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tree survey and assessment
  • Utility line clearance
  • Team collaboration and communication
  • Professional development and training

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license
  • Broad tree identification and characteristics knowledge
  • First aid certification
  • UA: 301, 401 & 402
  • Excellent map reading skills
  • Familiarity with Word and Excel programs and ability to operate software systems on tablet hardware
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in strict H&S operations and its practical implications
  • Practical experience of overhead line vegetation clearance lines works up to and including 132KV
  • NRSWA certification
  • Lantra-based professional tree inspection certificate
  • Manual handling certification
