Leaders in Care is seeking a dedicated and skilled Community Chemotherapy Nurse to join their team. As a specialist provider of Cancer Care, this role offers the unique opportunity to provide oncology treatments to patients in the comfort of their own homes, covering a wide area.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy, with skills in cannulation and venepuncture. A valid driving licence and SACT Passport or equivalent qualification are also required.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting blood tests and toxicity assessments.
- Administering IV and oral chemotherapy.
- Performing pump disconnections and line care.
- Providing IM/SC injections.
- Working independently in the community while staying connected with a supportive nursing team.
- Keeping up-to-date with new technologies and therapies in oncology care.
- Annual salary up to £43,000, negotiable based on experience.
- Company car or an extra £4850 car allowance.
- Mileage covered.
- NMC fees paid.
- Contributory pension scheme.
