About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Roof Truss Design Director to join our team at ARV Solutions. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for providing quality assurance by reviewing component designs on a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality assurance by reviewing component designs on a range of projects.
  • Train team members in industry-standard practices for estimation and design.
  • Consult with customers and add value through offering insights.
  • Maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the efficiency of creating take-offs, pricing/quotes, and quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience within the timber/residential industry.
  • Knowledge on Design, Estimation, and Quality Assurance.
  • Proficient in software: MiTek, Wolf, Gangnail, Consultec or Industry equivalents.
  • Understanding of construction documents plans, building materials, and residential building standards.
  • Passion for technology and be comfortable working in a virtual environment with international teams.
  • Takes pride in their work and does so with a high-level honesty and integrity.
