Job Title: Cover Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Teacher to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for supporting students of secondary age in a variety of subjects.

About the Role:
  • Location: Croydon
  • Position: Cover Teacher
  • Type of work: Cover Teacher
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: Long-term
  • Contract type: Temporary with the possibility of going permanent
  • Hours: 8:00 am - 16:00 pm (full day)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with students of all ability ranges, including those with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Run intervention sessions and booster groups for students who require additional support
  • Be involved in running extracurricular activities

Requirements:

  • No previous education experience is required
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training is desirable but not essential

Eligibility:

  • Hold a valid Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
