Job Title: Cover Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Teacher to support students in secondary education. As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for assisting students in various subjects and providing support to those who require it.

Job Details:
  • Location: Croydon
  • Position: Cover Teacher
  • Type of work: Temporary
  • Duration: Day to day
  • Contract type: Temporary with the view to go permanent
  • Full time/part time: Full time only
  • Minimum rate of pay: £90 per day
Responsibilities:
  • Work with students of all ability ranges, including those with EAL and SEN
  • Run intervention sessions and booster groups for students who require additional support
  • Be involved in running extracurricular activities
Requirements:
  • No previous education experience is required to apply
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but not essential)
  • Hold a Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
