Edinburgh Infrastructure Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Edinburgh infrastructure developer to join our IC Resources team, focusing on developing innovative tools and infrastructure that enhance software development, release, and deployment in Edinburgh.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with software developers to automate and refine development workflows, and partnering with software development teams to ensure adherence to established best practices.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop innovative tools and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with software developers to automate and refine development workflows.
  • Partner with software development teams to ensure adherence to established best practices.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in software development for platforms and infrastructure environments.
  • Proficiency in DevOps methodologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Strong experience with TypeScript, Python, and other languages.
  • Experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker.
  • Highly proficient in Git and GitHub workflows.
  • Experience in web full-stack development.
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
  • Exposure to C/C++ and experience in embedded systems development.
  • Agile methodology expertise.
