Established in Stafford, Recruitment Robin Ltd is a leading M&E consultancy specializing in mechanical and electrical engineering design and project management.

The successful candidate will drive high-quality mechanical installation projects from concept to completion, working closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

Becoming the Mechanical Installation Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Developing detailed 2D/3D designs and drawings in AutoCAD (or similar software) for various mechanical installation projects.
  • Understanding client requirements and translating them into effective design solutions that meet both project specifications and expectations.
  • Representing Recruitment Robin Ltd in meetings with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.
  • Overseeing the project lifecycle, including surveying, project management, and the preparation of technical reports.
  • Conducting site visits to monitor progress on live construction sites, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Fostering a collaborative work environment by providing mentorship to junior staff.

The Mechanical Installation Project Manager will have the following skills and experience:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous experience managing design projects within a multi-service M&E company would be highly advantageous. A background in the construction industry or building services environment is also beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of working with various stakeholders.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, as travel to project sites is part of the role.

This is a full-time position working from our office in Stafford, Monday to Friday, with occasional visits to customer sites.

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
