Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to join our team working on a high-voltage renewable energy project in Cardiff, Wales.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Site Manager in delivering the setting-out, managing the QA documentation (ITPs & ITCs), and overseeing the entire TQ process.
  • Key responsibilities include ensuring subcontractors adhere to specifications, designs, and RAMS, providing Resident Engineer advice to the project, reviewing performance and progress, identifying and coordinating interface works, and offering technical solutions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience on UK civil projects, hold a HND, Degree, or equivalent Civil Engineering qualification, and possess experience working on civil scopes of work >£10m – ideally on HV Substations, Energy projects. A track record in upholding quality standards is essential, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work with clients, subcontractors, and project leadership teams.
