Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract and report data for various college departments.
  • Create and manage reports using SQL and Power BI to support business intelligence.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize the data management system.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining reports and databases to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Support data analysis requests and ad hoc report creation for internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation for data processes and reports.
  • Identify improvements in reporting systems and implement solutions.
  • Provide user training and support for Power BI and SQL reports.
  • Communicate and assist users in understanding reports developed and published by the team.
  • Assist the IT team with updates to the student records system.

Requirements

  • Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths.
  • Level 3 IT qualification or relevant experience.
  • Good understanding of SQL language with ability to write clear and readable code.
  • Experience working with SQL and report writing in an education or corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (MSMS).
  • Knowledge of Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
