About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Network Engineer with expertise in cloud networking principles and hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support networking requirements across both cloud platforms, working alongside our Cloud and Network teams to ensure robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure for our clients.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain public cloud networks for customers, working closely with Solution Architects and Sales Engineers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve L2/L3 issues related to cloud networking, and implement and manage VPNs, DirectConnect, ExpressRoute, and VPC Peering to ensure seamless connectivity between on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Assist in optimizing cloud network performance and ensuring cost-effective solutions for clients, and provide support for network security audits and implement best practices for cloud network security.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with cloud networking in AWS and/or Azure, including VPC (AWS), Virtual Network (Azure), DirectConnect (AWS), ExpressRoute (Azure), and VPN configurations.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, such as routing, subnets, IP addressing, and DNS.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting network security, including security groups, network ACLs and load balancers in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with implementing Network Virtual Appliances in public cloud environments – especially FortiGate firewall devices.
