RSK Group is seeking a skilled Laboratory Testing Technician to join their Waste and Resources team. The ideal candidate will have a science-based A level or a graduate degree in environmental science or chemistry.
This is a full-time permanent role based at the office in Swindon, with easy M4 access. Approximately one third to half of the time will be spent in the on-site waste characterisation laboratory, assisting with routine sample preparation and characterisation of waste streams.
The remainder of the role will be office-based, focusing on test data processing and reporting. Key responsibilities include laboratory work, field work, data processing, and reporting.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of science A levels or a degree in a STEM discipline, preferably environmental or chemical science. They will also possess good verbal and written communication skills, and be able to follow detailed instructions and innovate.
Salary and benefits include up to £26,000, a contributory pension scheme, and a flexible benefits programme.
