Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Finance, Credit Control & Loans teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, statements, and budgets, providing insightful recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and oversee the annual budget and investment portfolio, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit, interest rate, liquidity, and operational risks, to safeguard the organisation's financial stability.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, maintaining a strong reputation and credibility.
  • Manage cash flow and act as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO, board, and management team, providing expert guidance and support.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of financial management experience, preferably within the financial services industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • ACCA or CIMA qualified, with experience working within an SME environment, and a strong understanding of financial services regulatory frameworks.
  • At least 2 years of people management experience, with a track record of effective team leadership, and a passion for developing, coaching, and leading finance teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt style and content to suit different audiences, and a natural team player with a customer-centric approach.
  • Outstanding organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and relationships, and strong decision-making skills.
