Job Overview

This exciting opportunity is available for a qualified and experienced Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our forward-thinking pharmacy team as a medicines management specialist.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Community Mental Health Team, providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients across Essex.

About the Role

This 9-12 months maternity cover period role involves delivering a medicines optimisation service in a community-based setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with a strong ability to use initiative and solve problems.

A recognised medicines management qualification is essential for this role, and full training will be provided to support the candidate's development.

  • ">Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities

Provide specialist medicines management support to the clinical team

Develop innovative working practices and improve medicines optimisation

Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care

Requirements

We are seeking a self-motivated and adaptable pharmacy technician with a strong background in mental health and experience working within a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will hold a BTEC/NVQ level 3 in pharmaceutical sciences or equivalent, an accredited checking qualification, and current registration with the GPhC.

A driving licence and good time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills are also essential for this role.
