Interaction Recruitment is partnering with a well-established national plant hire firm to support their growth. Our client, with over 50 years of experience, is looking to onboard and train engineers from various backgrounds, including plant, HGV, automotive, or agricultural, to join their team.

The company offers a comprehensive training scheme and internal progression routes. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on a variety of plant machinery and equipment, conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with the in-house engineering team to provide feedback and improve product performance.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV, or Agricultural industry.
  • Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities.
  • Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair, and service experience.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering.
