Interaction Recruitment is partnering with a well-established national plant hire firm to support their growth. Our client, with over 50 years of experience, is looking to onboard and train engineers from various backgrounds, including plant, HGV, automotive, or agricultural, to join their team.

The company offers a comprehensive training scheme and internal progression routes. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with a range of plant machinery and equipment, conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing complex technical issues and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Offering training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices
  • Communicating effectively with the in-house engineering team to provide feedback and improve product performance

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV, or Agricultural industry (essential)
  • Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
  • Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience
  • Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
