Retail Meat Cutter

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Retail Meat Cutter to join our team at Leevers Supermarkets. This role involves assisting the Meat Manager in various tasks, including cutting meat, maintaining inventory, and ensuring high-quality results.

About the Job:

• Assist the Meat Manager in cutting, breaking, and boning meat according to company standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and enforce program compliance to ensure freshness and quality.
• Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of previous meat cutting experience, including using hand tools and power equipment.
• Comprehensive product knowledge, ability to train, and previous supervisory experience.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent customer service, and leadership skills.

The estimated salary for this role is $48,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
