We are seeking a qualified and experienced Construction Safety Expert to join our team as a Regional Health and Safety Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and proactive professional to make a real difference in the construction industry.

About the Role

As a Regional Health and Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting and implementing health and safety across a variety of sites. This will involve working closely with site teams to develop and review health and safety protocols, conducting site inspections, and attending site review meetings.

You will also be responsible for providing guidance and advice on the application of SHE management systems, identifying and managing SHE risks, issues, and opportunities, and monitoring non-compliance reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and ongoing review of health and safety protocols for each site.
  • Advise site teams on the interpretation, guidance, and advice on the application of SHE management systems.
  • Undertake site inspections and attend site review meetings.
  • Provide support with the identification and management of SHE risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Monitor non-compliance reports and ensure that corrective actions are completed.
  • Review third-party risk assessments for quality and suitability.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 1 year's experience in a construction/civils health and safety role and hold a NEBOSH certificate or similar. You will also need to have a good understanding of relevant SHEQ legislation and industry standards.

In addition, you will need to have a full UK driver's license and be willing to travel to sites in Bedfordshire and the surrounding area.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including agile/home working, site visits, and opportunities for professional development.
