Job Description

We have opportunities in our busy highways, bridges, and infrastructure design team working on a variety of high-profile projects. Our projects range from major highways schemes to small junction improvement works for a variety of clients including government bodies and private developers in both the public and private sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake design for a wide variety of highways, bridges, or infrastructure design projects
  • Assist in design reviews and verification checks, as required
  • Support in the delivery of major highway projects, bridges, and utilities
  • Assist in the contract administration of projects
  • Provide technical assistance to the members of the Civil/Structural Engineering team
  • Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum 2.1 degree in Civil Engineering (MEng, BEng, BSc)
  • Previous technical/industry experience
  • MS Office skills
  • Experience in the use of Civil Engineering design software including AutoCad
  • Commitment to achieving professional qualifications in engineering/chartered status
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Suitability for security clearance
