Highway Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Highway Design Engineer to join our team at Matchtech. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment where you will be involved in the design and maintenance of essential transport infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop highway projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet relevant health and safety standards.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and specifications, utilizing highway design software and tools to develop efficient solutions.
- Collaborate with other engineers, planners, and stakeholders to ensure project success, conducting site visits and assessments as required.
- Provide technical support and advice throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and advancements.
- Experience in highway design, with proficiency in highway design software and relevant modelling tools.
- Strong understanding of highway engineering principles and practices, with ability to prepare and review technical specifications and reports.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
