Data Quality Improvement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Data Quality Improvement Specialist to join our Technology team based in Bristol. This is a new and exciting opportunity to lead data improvement projects and initiatives, enhance data processes, and ensure data quality and governance across the organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for improving the quality of data across IOP Publishing to ensure accuracy, consistency and reliability. They will work closely with all areas of the organisation to champion and train colleagues in how to get the most from data, ensuring data is efficiently and effectively captured, processed, stored and disposed of.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of data management concepts, including data governance and data quality. They will also have experience using a data governance tool and knowledge of legal and ethical data usage.
