We are seeking an experienced Network and Systems Professional to join our team at Women's Engineering Society. As an ICT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site technical support for end-users, including hardware, software, and network issue troubleshooting.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and software applications.
  • Monitor IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications, to detect and resolve issues proactively.
  • Detect and resolve technical problems in a timely manner to minimise downtime and disruptions.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Implement and support new IT systems throughout the full IT project lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and guides.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and support activities.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and communication for a positive end-user experience.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Support Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, Windows, Active Directory, and remote desktop support tools.
  • Excellent understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN/WIFI technologies (Aruba preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Virtualisation technologies, including VMWare and Nutanix.
  • Clear understanding of cybersecurity principles and their application.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and respond to emergencies.
  • Willingness to travel to other sites as required.
