Dental Care Assistant

Your Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Care Assistant to join our team at Bellstane Dental Care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional chair-side support in all day-to-day activities within the practice and surgeries. Your role will involve working closely with our clinicians to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care while adhering to all clinical and health & safety guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating a welcoming environment for patients that sets them at ease from the outset
- Maximising the use of our internal system to ensure accurate patient records are maintained
- Ensuring the surgery is set up appropriately for each session throughout the day to maximise efficiency and surgery utilisation
- Anticipating the requirements of the clinician and patient in advance of their session and ensuring necessary lab work and equipment is in place
- Monitoring surgery stocks to ensure that appropriate stock levels are maintained
- Undertaking reception duties when required, including answering the telephone, making appointments and collecting patient charges
About You
We are looking for a qualified candidate who is GDC registered and has experience working in Private / NHS practices. You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a willingness to demonstrate the highest levels of patient care. If you are enthusiastic, motivated and eager to learn and develop new skills, we would love to hear from you.
