Head of Global Specialty Bids

At Howden Group Holdings, we're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Global Specialty Bids team. As the Head of Global Specialty Bids, you'll be responsible for managing a small team of Bid Managers who will focus on successfully responding to Global Specialty RFPs.
Our Global Specialty team comprises various specialist areas, including Energy, Renewables, Construction, Aviation, Financial lines, Real Estate, and Employee Benefits. As the Head of Global Specialty Bids, you'll be the driving force behind our bid strategy, ensuring timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids from the team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a small team of Bid Managers
- Developing and implementing bid strategies
- Ensuring compliance with bid protocols
- Managing the performance of direct reports
- Acting as a role model for positive management and leadership behavior
We're looking for someone with a strong background in bid management, preferably within the Financial services sector. You'll need excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work with senior-level clients. If you're a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for bid management, we'd love to hear from you.
