Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Process Equipment Engineer to join our team at Recruit Mint Ltd in St Neots. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, maintaining and repairing process equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair process equipment to achieve high standards and meet factory performance goals.
  • Provide electrical setup and support for production activities.
  • Conduct fault finding and repair of breakdowns in a timely manner.
  • Ensure adherence to factory safety procedures and protocols.
  • Perform regular Preventive Maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Fabricate and install Plant and Machinery under supervision.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with production equipment maintenance in a diverse factory environment.
  • Excellent diagnostic skills to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including stores systems and Maintenance Management Systems.

Salary and Benefits Package

The estimated salary for this position is £45,500 per annum, rising to £47,000. You will also receive a £250 annual tool allowance, opportunities for overtime, onsite free parking, childcare vouchers, and a very generous company pension.

Shift Schedule:

You will work a combination of day and night shifts, with a total of 143 rostered shifts per year. The shift pattern includes two day shifts, two night shifts, and six days off. The company provides at least two weeks' notice for any changes to the published roster. Your holiday entitlement is incorporated into your time off shift, and you can swap shifts to create more time off.
