Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Field Based Mechanic to join our team at The Retention Group. As a Field Based Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing, servicing, and maintaining a wide selection of forklift trucks in a local patch.

About the Role:

  • Repair and maintain forklift trucks to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries in a timely manner.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Experience working on engines, including diesel and petrol engines.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to drive a company van.
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
