About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Senior Production Supervisor in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our production operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy labour as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the packaging operation
  • Ensure new employees are inducted on the first day of employment
  • Ensure training is given to packers to enable them to carry out their tasks
  • Coordinate activities between production line and packaging line to ensure all packaging lines are staffed in accordance with production lines running
  • Monitor and ensure packing figures are recorded correctly and all relevant information is passed onto employees and supervision

Requirements:

  • Proven team leader/supervisory experience within a production environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Recent experience within a packaging environment/fast paced production
  • Excellent communication skills (Written and verbal)
  • Able to demonstrate safe working practices and adhere to strict H&S requirements and regulations
