Main Responsibilities- Work at an advanced level within their level of competence and work flexibly across all areas of the team.
- Provide effective leadership by leading by example, empowering nurses and other healthcare professionals to improve care and participate in strategic planning.
- Undertake research within the specialist area and contribute to the development of professional practice.
- Assist patients with personal care following Trust manual handling guidance.
- Work in frequent highly distressing and emotional circumstances.
- First-level Registered Nurse.
- JAG accredited and Independent Nurse Endoscopist in Upper or Lower GI procedures.
- Teaching qualification.
- Non-medical independent prescriber.
- PACR (Patient Assessment and Clinical Reasoning) course qualification.
