Job Title: Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in managing water and water recycling projects across the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical and commercial expertise to enable the development of detailed planning and subsequent delivery of capital programmes of work.

The role involves monitoring, reviewing, and managing parcels/projects of work to ensure high standards of safety, sustainability, and cost control are maintained throughout.

The Project Engineer will identify, manage, and escalate risks where necessary to guarantee the best outcome for the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure solutions are Water and/or Wastewater quality compliant
  • Completion of Root Cause Analysis
  • Comply with the corporate Risk and Value process
  • Ensure standard products and other technical standards (e.g. minimum asset standards) are adhered to
  • Car allowance

Requirements:
  • Appropriate engineering qualification or membership of professional body or equivalent experience
  • Proven technical experience within the relevant environment (Water or Wastewater)
  • Experience of project planning, delivery, and site supervision
  • Root cause analysis to optionee suitable solutions
  • Experience of Anglian Water IT systems particularly M2i, SAP, and Power Bi
