Public Relations Strategist

Talent Hub is seeking an experienced PR Manager to join our team on a 12-month maternity contract. This role offers a salary up to £42,000, along with excellent holiday benefits and flexible working arrangements.
As a key member of our integrated marketing and communications team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering press and PR campaigns that generate impactful media coverage, aligning with our strategic objectives, audience engagement, and commercial outcomes.
You will work closely with our PR Executives to execute media campaigns, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive overall results. Your expertise will be invaluable in guiding us towards achieving our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement press and PR campaigns to highlight our brand, support audience growth, sales expansion, and strategic goals.
- Collaborate with our Head of Marketing to create comprehensive media plans with clear objectives, timelines, and success metrics.
- Partner with our Director of Audiences to devise and implement a crisis communications strategy ensuring readiness and responsiveness.
- Cultivate and expand relationships with diverse media contacts, including mainstream, specialist, national, and international outlets.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with established media partners, identifying areas for growth and joint initiatives.
- Oversee a responsive press office, handling media enquiries in a timely manner with professionalism and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a PR Manager developing and implementing press and PR campaigns across multiple channels in the arts & culture sector.
- Excellent knowledge of the media landscape with a strong network of media contacts relevant to the arts or not for profit b2c sectors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including copywriting.
- Experience and knowledge of campaign evaluation methods.
- Experience in managing a small PR team.
