Job Description: Primary School Teaching Assistant

This role involves providing vital support to teachers and pupils in a Primary School setting, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment in Willenhall.

Main Duties:

  1. Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring high-quality academic outcomes for students.
  2. Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to achieve academic and personal goals for students.
  3. Develop and implement engaging activities to promote student motivation and interest in learning.
  4. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  5. Provide support with small group work and one-to-one sessions, promoting student engagement and motivation.

Requirements:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare or teaching assistance, demonstrating relevant skills and knowledge.
  • Experience working in schools or educational settings, showcasing ability to adapt to different environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and students.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems, responding to unexpected situations with confidence.
  • Possess a flexible and patient demeanor, providing support to students and colleagues alike.
