Irwin & Colton is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Officer to join our team in the Cross Hands area. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of safety initiatives across a large manufacturing site while enjoying support with further development of your Health and Safety qualifications and skills.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the site is compliant with UK legislation and group strategy for health and safety, providing accurate reporting on health and safety performance.
- Deliver Risk Assessments across the site, engaging with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, operational staff, and external regulators.
- Provide health and safety support across the site, seeking opportunities to improve and develop health and safety practices.
- Proven experience in a similar role within Food Manufacturing or a related industry.
- NEBOSH certificate or equivalent (desirable).
- Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging colleagues and stakeholders.
- An enthusiastic and positive approach to health and safety.
