At ActiveFence, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Child Safety Operations Manager to oversee our research team tackling online child exploitation. In this critical role, you will lead initiatives to deliver impactful insights, manage workflows, ensure exceptional delivery, and foster a culture of innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to address risks associated with online child exploitation, including CSAM, grooming, sextortion, and trafficking.
  • Mentor and train team members on best practices for data analysis, database management, and OSINT.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance client deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, such as GenAI, and develop knowledge resources to support the team's expertise.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in child safety, with a proven track record of addressing online harms.
  • At least 5 years experience in research, holding a minimum of a master's degree in criminology, sociology, or a related field; a PhD is an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of experience in team leadership.
  • Exceptional skills in analytical thinking, communication, and technical proficiency, with resilience to handle sensitive content and expertise in OSINT, automation, and database management.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $120,000 per year, considering the required skills and qualifications, location, and industry standards.
