We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join our team in the Strathbungo area of Glasgow. As a Supervisor, you will play a key role in providing essential support to adults with additional needs, working closely with our Management Team, families, and other professionals.

About the Role

As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the staff team, providing guidance, supervision, and coaching. Your duties will include support planning, reviewing care, and ensuring all tasks are completed through regular checks. You will also be part of the on-call rota, ensuring continuous support is available when needed.

We are seeking someone who can become a key player in our team, which boasts a wealth of expertise in communication, health and wellbeing, and promoting positive behaviour. You will have the opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of our service users.

About You

We are looking for someone with strong experience working directly with people who have complex care and communication needs. You will be able to guide, lead, and motivate colleagues to deliver high-quality person-centered care, leading by example of best social care practice.

This role could be for you if:

  • You hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care (or other specialty recognised by the SSSC for registration purposes)
  • You can be flexible; able to work days, evenings, and weekends
  • You have experience of supporting culture change in the work environment
  • You have strong IT and office organisational skills
  • You have excellent knowledge and experience of person-centred practice
  • You can coach and mentor colleagues
  • You can challenge poor or unsafe practice; championing good practice and person-centered support for the individuals using services
  • You have excellent communication skills to relay complex and challenging information
