About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Midwife to join our team as a Practice Development Midwife. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and progressive environment, contributing to the improvement of maternity services and the development of midwifery staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to midwives and maternity support workers
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance midwifery skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve maternity services
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for patients
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Registered Midwife with current NMC registration
  • Experience in midwifery practice development or education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
