About our Vacancy


We are seeking a skilled Beauty Therapy Lecturer to join our team at North Hertfordshire College. As a Beauty Therapy Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our students, ensuring they achieve their full potential.



Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning


  • Plan and deliver dynamic learning programmes that meet the needs of learners.

  • Lead the delivery and assessment of Beauty Therapy from level 1 to level 3 in a group setting to learners of varying abilities and ages.


Programme Development


  • Contribute to the development and formative assessment of learners to ensure that learning meets individual needs.

  • Promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, the mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.


Student Support


  • Deliver outstanding learning and assessment through creative methods.

  • Develop a positive working relationship with students, particularly in respect of their conduct and behaviour.


Requirements


  • Hold, or be working towards a relevant teaching qualification such as the Award in Education and Training (AET) or Diploma in Education and Training (DET).

  • Have a sound knowledge of a range of IT applications including online portfolio systems.

  • Have a degree or equivalent industry-based qualification at Level 3 or above.
