About the Position

As an Educational Well-being Assistant at Protocol Education, you will play a vital role in supporting students with SEN and SEMH needs to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with students, teachers, and families to provide individualised support plans and promote academic success.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Offering one-on-one and group support to students with SEN and SEMH needs, helping them build emotional resilience and well-being.
  • Assisting students with coping strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and other emotional challenges.
  • Helping students develop social and emotional skills to thrive in the school environment.
  • Working closely with teachers, special educational staff, and parents to create and implement individualised support plans.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour, self-confidence, and independence among students.
  • Supporting students to manage their mental health needs and providing a safe, supportive space when required.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £83-94 per day, depending on experience. This temporary position may have the option to become permanent in the future.
