About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Civil Engineer to join our team in Cumbria, working on the A66 North Trans-Pennine project. As a key member of the site team, you will be responsible for delivering schemes to a high standard, on time and budget. This requires excellent project management skills, knowledge of construction processes, and experience in ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in setting out, levelling, and surveying construction sites. They will also have a good understanding of construction drawings and be able to ensure compliance with these documents. In addition, they will have experience in overseeing quality control, producing site diaries and allocation sheets, keeping contemporary records, reviewing Cl32 programmes, monitoring subcontractor and supplier performance, attending weekly site meetings, and coordinating with the design manager to ensure design activities are aligned with the programme.
